About Framing
Quality framing can be expensive but it is essential to both preserve your image and present it in the strongest manner possible. Quality framing is available in both metal and wood options. Color choices are intended to compliment the work, allowing the image itself to attract and hold the viewer's attention.
All frames use archival backing board and museum-grade Acrylite OP3 UV-filtering plexi-glass. Protecting your print from harmful ultra-violet (UV) light is critical to preserving the piece.

Displaying the Print
Generally, the best placement of photographic art within a room is away from windows and the direct path of sunlight. Even bright reflected sunlight can subject a print to harmful UV radiation which can accelerate fading and damage a print over time. To optimize a print for aesthetic enjoyment, it's also critical to light the print.
Lighting the Print
When lighting a print, 60-80 watt halogen floodlights (2800-2900K) are ideal — they provide a warm color-complimentary light. Standard incandescent or fluorescent lights will emit undesirable color casts. LED lights are also an excellent option for their longevity and energy savings. LED floodlights (~3000K) provide a "cleaner" whiter light. To maintain color fidelity, LEDs must rate 90+ in their color rendering index (CRI). Halogen lights are inherently color consistent with a CRI of 100.
Lights should be positioned 4-6 feet away from the print and at an angle of 30-40°. Be careful to position lighting so it avoids direct spotlight reflections on the print's surface when viewed directly.

Packaging and Shipping
Great care is taken to package prints for shipping. Standard shipping is UPS or FedEx ground (insured) with faster shipping methods available. We calculate shipping at invoicing so there are no surprises.
Your Satisfaction
I value relationships with collectors. If you're not satisfied with a print, it can be returned within 30 days for a full refund (less shipping charges).
